Heathrow Terminal 5 Hotel – Hotels near Heathrow

“Excellent! Will stay again”

I am very shocked this hotel only has a 3 star rating, I was impressed. The bedroom was spacious and modern, with everything you would need; desk, sofa, flat screen etc. The bathroom was really nice a walk in shower, nicely decorated. It was very clean and well furnished. The only downsides for me were the shower did not get very hot and the breakfast was not very good. Having said that the breakfast is free so hard to complain, it consisted of cereal, bread, toast, scrambled egg, beans and sausage. We will definitely stay again.

“Excellent for Heathrow”

Could not fault this hotel, east check-in & car parking. Excellent staff, very friendly - hotel was extremely clean & everything required for a peaceful night before travelling.

Would stay again without hesitation

“Ideal Stop Over”

We landed at Heathrow at 8.00pm after leaving the Maldives at 6.00am so to say that we were tired was an understatement.

Directions on the hotel website were spot on and my husband parked the car whist I checked in. This was a quick and painless process. We were a family of 4 and the room had been prepared for us and was of ample size for two adults and two teenagers. Bathroom was very smart and beds (yes even the sofa bed) were comfortable. We were two tired to want to socialise in the dinning area so husband nipped across the road to M&S for sandwiches and crisps whilst I put the kettle on.

Breakfast next morning was busy but plentiful and well presented. Must admit I think Hiexpress is way ahead of its other two main competitors both from the point of presentation and comfort. Booked and paid for the room almost a year ahead and got a comfortable nights sleep and 4 breakfasts for £46.00. Even taking into account the £10.00 parking fee I call that a bargain.

“Ideal stopover for visit tp”

Book two family rooms and one double room for two nights with our family on a weekend visit to Legoland. Hotel is just off the M4 and ideally situated for visiting both Windsor and Legoland.Found rooms to be clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the price and found it to be more than adequate for us to start the day, reasonable choice of dishes although no bacon. Had a meal in the restaurant on the Thursday evening for the 10 in our party which included our 4 grandchildren. Staff in Restaurant very attentive and most helpful as where all the Staff in the Hotel, food was fine with no complaints, parking was free on site, which was a bonus. Also opposite was a filing Station with a Marks and Spencer shop, ideal for getting stuff for a picnic for the visit to Legoland. Would certainly recommend this hotel as a short term base.

“Ideal spot”

We (2 adults plus 2 year old) stayed here for 5 nights, and thought it was great. Usual good Holiday Inn Express standard. Rooms were big enough even with cot bed. Huge big shower and loads of towels. Good choice at breakfast. Fab play area beside food for kids to be entertained. Friendly and helpful staff, and brilliant location. We visited windsor (castle and leisure pool which was great), brands hatch, peppa pig world and legoland-all within an hours drive of hotel and with easy access to motorways. There was also M&S food across the road, great for stocking up on picnics for days out (or big tesco and sainsburys a few minutes drive away if you need more). We loved the hotel, and the location, and are already planning to go back, we found it so convenient and good value. If I had any negatives I would have to say mattress wasn't comfiest ever (but was fine) and we stumbled on fact kids eat free when adult pays for main meal. It would have been useful if this was advertised. But they're just minor issues. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here to anyone.

“Stay before an early flight”

We booked this hotel using Holiday-Extras Mystery Hotel, we got a great deal. The hotel is easy to find. Was very comfortable and clean, offered a free breakfast and the Hoppa bus that runs every half an hour to the terminal arrived on time. We had a meal in the restaurant which was good, although we could have done without the noisy group that were also there, and then a great nights sleep. I would definately recommend for anyone flying from Heathrow Terminal 5.
